Wow! You have come through 18 months of stressful work, worrying about your kids, worrying about your parents, home schooling, working from home with kids under your elbow and being concerned for your own health and well-being...not to mention living in a world that might be feeling a little different than it felt 18 months ago. And now, back to school for your children and teens!
First, prayers that your fall is going well.
Second, pat yourself on the back, give yourself a hug, because you have gotten this far and have still kept your sense of humour and love in your heart.
Third, what will the fall bring? More uncertainty, yes. But also more than a glimmer of hope that, if we stay the course, we just might see the backend of this pandemic.
Fourth, where does your spiritual life and church life fit into all of this? As a church, as a faith community, it is time to re-connect.
So...you are invited Sundays, at 9:50 a.m. to the east door of Port Perry United Church, leading to the auditorium, for a relaxed kid-friendly service with simple worship, & easy craft. Folks will be seated in household clusters and masks are required. ALL AGES ARE WELCOME TO ATTEND...whether you are a grandma or grandpa or whether or not you have kids.
