Perry United Church Community Outreach presents our 2nd
annual Town & Country House Tour on Saturday,
September 25, 2010, from 10:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. Last year,
brilliant sunshine and blue skies greeted over 325 house tour
enthusiasts. It truly was an amazing day as people toured eight
fine homes -- four century homes and four more modern homes
-- in beautiful, historic Port Perry and surrounding area. This
year promises to be even better with a tremendous array of homes
and historic buildings lined up for your viewing pleasure! |
Once
again this year, all throughout the day, light refreshments
will be served at the House
Tour Café at Port
Perry United Church.
This
is a charitable event with all proceeds supporting three very
important local organizations -- Durham Youth
Housing and Support Services, Community
Care Durham and YWCA Durham's Second Stage
Housing for Women. We are excited about this project.
Not only will you have a wonderful day full of amazing architecture,
lovely gardens, and inspiring decorating, but you will also
make a positive impact on at-risk youth, women, and the elderly
within our community.
