Ministers
	Rev. Tim Dayfoot Rev. Tim is happy to be in Port Perry and Prince Albert United Churches as a supply minister until the end of June 2011. Tim sees his work with Port Perry and Prince Albert as helping these two vital and vibrant churches continue on a solid footing during an in-between period. After being blessed by the ministry of Rev. Elaine for the last five years, we are now being called on to prepare for the arrival of a new person in ministry in July 2011. This time of preparation can be very exciting, it can be very beneficial, but it can also be unsettling. It can also be a time when the movement of God’s spirit within the life of our congregations is felt in new ways. Before Tim’s arrival in Port Perry & Prince Albert, he served five other pastoral charges – Oakdale and Mt. Brydges in London Conference, Kleinburg-Nobleton and Aurora in Toronto Conference, and most recently, Orono United Church in Oshawa Presbytery. Tim is married to Leta, who works as a teacher at Havergal College Junior School in Toronto. Tim and Leta have two grown children, Sophia, a kinesiologist, and Andrew, a carpenter.
	Rev. Rohan L. Wijesinghe, B.D., Theol. M. Rev. Rohan has been happy to minister among us since September 2008. After 41 years of ordained ministry in Sri Lanka, Australia and now in Canada, he retired in early 2008. He is happy to continue to help out as long as his ministry is needed. His main focus will continue to be on pastoral care and worship. He believes that pastoral care encourages us to be a caring–healing community and that it is a privilege to walk with us in happy times and in not-so-happy times. He also believes that worship gathers us together as a community of faith to celebrate God’s goodness in our lives and to fulfill God’s purposes. He believes that good humour helps us heal and understand life better. Rev. Rohan and his wife, Indira live in Lindsay. Indira is now a member of our Pastoral Charge. Their daughter, Dinalika (Dina) and husband Vasana were blessed with a daughter, Divina, earlier this year. Their son, Rajeev, like his dad, is also a Rotarian!
